PSHA MEMBERS PLEASE READ: Rule Changes or By-Law Changes?
How do I propose a rule change in the PSHA Rule Book?
In order to make a rule change, proposals must be submitted to the President’s office in
motion form with proponents signatures attached, prior to September 10th of each year for
publication to the membership prior to the Annual Meeting. Person or persons submitting the
proposal must be present at the Annual Meeting in order to “move the proposal” before the
proposal will be considered by the membership. Each Region will be allowed one proposal
from the floor of the meeting. Rule changes passed by the membership will become effective
January 1st of the next year.
How do I propose a by-law change?
Proposed alterations to PSHA By-laws shall be submitted to the PSHA Board of Directors for
wording at least 60 days prior to the Annual Meeting. They can only be adopted at the Annual
Meeting by a 2/3 majority vote of those members casting a ballot.
